Any tips for my Ski trip to St Gervais at Christmas? |
Travel Info Have you been to the St Gervais ski resort in France. Im going at Christmas and would appreciate any recomendations from people that have been there. Travel Tips yer i have been many times with my job to st Gervais,its very good,you are in close proximity to many ski resorts from there,you have Les houches Les carroz samoens which has a great Wednesday market and of course you have Chamonix the capitol of the Houte Saviore region which is were you are heading for,although i do not ski myself i have enjoyed many many tours to this region and st Gervais in particular,try the local hot pot on a midweek evening as well its super,av a gud un,,,,, Others Here are my tips.... 1. Don't break any bones 2. Wear a woolly hat 3. Remember to get off the ski-lift when you get to the top. Have a great time! Don't forget your skis. Make sure there is snow forecast. So....that's a pretty dumb question. How about you just come right out and say, "Hey, I'm going skiing in France and you aren't. What do you think about that?" Take gloves and a couple power adapters. Be ready to have fun and meet people. Have a Great time. Yes I went there last year and had an excellent time!! Would recommend going to Les Houches for skiing also, using the tram through the middle of town which is an experience in itself! I think the most important tip is....Don't forget your passport. It'll save a most embarrassing moment at the airport. |
