Will there be a Christmas and Twelfth Night Fair in Reims in 2006? |
Travel Info Reims held a Christmas and Twelfth Night Fair in late-December 2005 and early-January 2006. Will there be one in December 2006-January 2007? If so, what are the dates and the location? Travel Tips They will be having a Christmas fair from November 24 to Decembre 24 (copied from the Reims Tourist Office website): "Many storekeepers are settled in more than 120 chalets and offer gifts, gastronomic products, Christmas decorations. The numerous activities are a part of the atmosphere : street artists, magicians, jugglers, chorals, barrel organ players... Discover the "crib path" that links Reims to Epernay and the magic Christmas songs sang by chorals from the Champagne region and also other regions." There are several other events planned for the holiday season in Reims and its area: *Covering more than 800 m虏, the "Christmas in Russia" exhibition at the Tau Palace, next to the Notre Dame de Reims cathedral, offers fabulous holiday scenes from circa 1900 Russia. *Christmas wouldn't be complete without caroling.
