Who has been to France? |
Travel Info Just wondering Travel Tips I have been to France and it is a wonderful place! I visited many restaurants, museums and the Eiffel Tower. Did you know it sparkled at night! IF you are planning to go there visit the Louvre. Others Been there I have and I totally had a blast. For the most part. I loved Nice and the Riveira moi Yup, I've been there and it's fantastic! France is a tad-bit larger than California(In size comparison), in fact, France is somwhat to what the United States of America being France is known around the world as a diverse country in its people, architectures and landscapes. About 50% of the French population claim to have foreign background(and many proudly display it when I went to France). On the one hand, France is highly densified with old architecture such as the city of Paris or the Centre of Troyes. The French Familly code(which is based on personal status, property, and acquisition of property) is 200 years old and has been written under Napoleon. On the other hand, France is a highly developed country with an extensive highway network (for example: France is slightly bigger than California but its highway network is more than twice as long), 32,000 kilometres (20,000 mi) of railways (SNCF), along with modern ski resorts and gigantic malls. France is also the country with the fastest average internet connection speed (ADSL and more recently optical fibre in Paris), and in 2004, for the 3rd time in a row, the French healthcare system has been ranked number one in the world by the World Health Organisation. Basic transportation in France is made up of Railway Trains, M茅tros(Such as Paris Metro, Poma 2000 which is a small transportation versatile 'train', etc.), Tramways, Waterways(Heavily Traveled),etc. To conclude what i'm trying to say to you, you should not complete your visit without visiting the capital city of France, Paris(Also capital of the French d茅partement (75). Paris is situated on the banks of the river Seine in north-central France, it is also the capital of the 脦le-de-France r茅gion (also known as "Paris Region"), which encompasses Paris and its suburbs. You should wander around Paris looking for such architectual museums, locations, etc. such as Avenue de l'Op茅ra, The Grande Arche in La D茅fense, Le Arc de Triomphe, and once you start getting a feeling in your stomach(Of hunger, no pun intended)take a pass-by to Rungis(whcih is the main large wholesale food market said to be one of the biggest in the world (March茅 d'Int茅r锚t National de Rungis). Did that help? Went in 99....for Christmas ......then went back in 02 for 2 weeks. Paris ...best city in the world I have been and going back there on Monday evening. |
