I have lived in germany for 5 years and have a lot of friends. now i have to move to omaha. how do i get more? |
Travel Info i am really scared that everyone will think me a strange foreign girl when i'm not. they may not give me a chance to talk about myself. i don't know how to get good friends. Travel Tips don麓t sweat it - they麓ll think you麓re cool since you麓ve lived in Europe! The majority of people in Omaha have not left the state and or the continent - they麓ll want to know stuff :-D If you are a nice person you麓ll find friends there in no time! Just smile and be patient, you have a broader point of view than someone who has not spent time in a different country and some questions might sound stupid to you but answer them with patience and some humor and you麓ll be fine. If they don麓t give you a chance to talk about yourself then they麓re not worth your time anyways, right? Find some fun and nice people and let them teach you about life in Omaha in return for telling them about Europe - I麓m sure that will start something good :-D Hope your transition from Germany to Omaha goes smoothly, just enjoy and take in all the new stuff and it will be alright. Others I love foriegn women. There's some kind of added spark when someone comes from another country. People like me will try to meet you, wheres you could go from there. Just chill out and don't worry about it. If they are friendly, cool...if not, then atleast you know they arn't...so you can avoid them. @introuble, meet people in rl. Internet Chatting is ok, but people in rl means you could become involved with something much further.
