Does Ireland have any mountains that good for hiking and climbing?

Travel Tips
Hiking in Ireland is a different experience from the states, as many uS visitors soon realise. Their are no trails (except up Croagh Patrick) and it involves a bit of compass work and local knowledge. Although the hills aren't very high they are boggy and the conditions are changeable at best. You should link up with a local walking group (like at universities )which usually welcome tourists.
Few good climbing area in the burren area of clare.
And if your very experienced try carrantouhill in Co.kerry Irelands highest at 1041m
