Travel Tips I think you may be confusing Guinea with the country Equitorial Guinea, which is the only Spanish speaking country in Africa. Equitorial Guinea, as you can guess, is located right by the equator and is on the west coast of Africa. It was formerly known as Spanish Guinea. Others theres no guinea in SAmerica, its in W.africa. but theres guiana highlands (5.00 N latitude 60.00 W longitude) and a country called guyana at the same location in S america. my atlas!
