What would be a good three day get-a-way with boyfriend? |
Travel Info This will be our first trip together and I would like to make it fun and romantic...any suggestions on where to go? Travel Tips How about Niagara Falls for the fun part and Niagara on the Lake for the romantic part? (Niagara Falls and Niagara on the Lake are about 25 minutes apart) Niagara Falls has lots of fun stuff - a casino, jet boat rides, maid of the mist, Hardrock Cafe, Planet Hollywood, that sort of thing. Niagara on the Lake has lots of wineries, spas & plays at the Shaw festival. It would be about a 4-6 hour drive depending on your starting point in Ohio, you don't need a passport. Niagara on the Lake is a beautiful place anytime of year but especially fall. Nice Inns & Spas: http://www.vintage-hotels.com http://www.obaninn.ca/ Source(s): Personal Favourite (as you may have guessed) Other Travel Tips Napa Valley, California. Where are you located? I don't know what's near Ohio, but if you two are in-love, or are falling in-love, any getaway together will feel romantic. Enjoy! Cocoa Beach FL. LAKE GEORGE is absolutely gorgeous ... very cute town or u can go to the CAESARS POCONOS RESORTS in PA check out there site its great and very romantic ....... =0) Since I'm not sure where you are located at, here a few places that are in my area. Chicago / New York - they have so much to offer from site seeing to dinner & a movie. Niagara Falls. Poconos. Mackinac Island. If it's too much money, try looking into bed and breakfast places around your area. Usually there are things to do in that area. Hope this helps! With just three days, I doubt you want to spend most of it traveling. I suggest camping. Whether it's in a motorhome or a tent, you may be able to find a not-so-busy lake near you, and camp on a two track. Just the two of you for a night swim or a daytime hike around the lake, I think is romantic. I've spent some weekends with boyfriends at lakes. It's nice, not expected, and you don't have to deal with people, unless you want to. Good luck, have fun. |
