Travel Info They are so similar - great wine and cuisine, cosmopolitan population, fantastic scenery, and all that within pretty small distances - would anyone with insight care to elaborate? As I'm born and grown up in Europe, I would appreciate the green landscapes of New Zealand and its calmnesss. I would think New Zealand were more laid back compared to fast paced europe. New Zealand: - less spoiled - greener - farther away from the US (this is the most important thing) - locals are just great I have visited both and they are pretty different! Were you planning on staying in a town or in the countryside of Europe. If you want the scenery I say New Zealand- especially where they filmed the Lord of the Rings.
