Travel Info My great-grandfather was from the town now known as Slovenska Ves, Slovakia before he immigrated to the US in the late 1890s. I am wondering if anyone can tell me a little about the town... is it a big town? Population? I'm looking to see if I still have relation there..... Travel Tips slovenska ves is a really small town in the north-east of slovakia, its population is about 1780 citizens. be sure that the town you what to know is called slovenska ves because there is another small town called slovenska NOVA ves which makes part of the west part of the country. go to http://www.obce.info/index.php?make=mapa... the web is only in slovak but it does not provide many information. Others slovemnska is huge i think First of all its Slovenia(former Yugoslav Republic)Town of Slovenska Ves is not in Slovakia.These are two different country's.Anyway S.V. is a beautiful Little mountain town in a green Forrest with a Spa.Its a great Holiday resort in a hot summer time I am Croatian,and have been there when it was still Yugoslavia |
