we are booked to go on saturday,we have been lots of times before and love it,if we cancel we wont get our money back on insurance as its terrorism and its excluded,what would you do?thanks x

I'd go, and although it's worth being careful, there's no point in letting this last week's bombs put you off. You can't guarantee safety anywhere nowadays, and Turkey is still one of the safest places to go in the world. It's a beautiful country, and the people are great - they deserve to have as much support as we can give them through our tourist money.

yes, love turkey. have a flat out there. just be careful, same as anywhere there is unrest! I mean, you can go to London and get blown up, America and get shot so just take the normal precautions.
