What's the best/cheapest way to travel from Stuttgart, Germany to Salzburg, Austria? |
Travel Info I want to go on a weekend trip to Salzburg, but I'm unsure the cheapest/best way to get there? Train, bus or driving? Thanks for any help! Travel Tips Nearly every hour departs a nonstop train from Stuttgart to Salzburg, so that u won't get lost at Munich Main Station. The one way fare is 59EUR ( 2nd class ), a seat reservation costs EUR 3,- . Travel time is 4 hours. U can check times and fares under www. bahn.de ( also available in english ) Bus: There a bus which operates twice a week for EUR 32. Then you will know how far the drive is. Call Sato and find out how much the train ticket would be. Too easy. mit dem Zug by train!!! I think you could take a weekend train for cheep. I think there are buses too but train is probably the best. If you are a resident you can usually get good rates on the weekends. I think the train goes from Stuttgart to Munich and then to Salzburg. Ask at the train station that is probably the best. Best way is chauffeured Rolls Royce. Cheapest is shank's mare. |
