So, first you would need to get to Rijeka from there. I would agree with Donna that taking the bus would be the cheapest way. This line from Rijeka Airport (on Krk) to town (main bus station in Rijeka) is covering bus company "Autotrans", and it takes about 45 min depends on traffic. Rijeka Airport is just one station on the line that is connecting town Krk (on island/peninsula Krk) with Rijeka. Bus schedule you may see on the link I'm providing you with (bellow). As the whole site is only in Croatian I made survey for you from August 31, 2006 till September 6, 2006, by that covering whole days in the week (link will open the survey I made for you). Because the schedule for e.g. one Monday or Saturday, basically should work or be the same for same days next week, and week after and so on.
