Travel Info
Is it like a highway?

Travel Tips
A motorway is like a US freeway

It is a restricted access multi lane divided highway with a high speed limit.

They are all numbered and identified with a M (for motorway) prefix. The M4 is the motorway that starts in London, skirting the north of Heathrow airport, on an east-west direction, and goes to Wales. (or vice versa)

It is 193 miles long and ends at Pont Abraham passing Maidenhead, Reading, Newbury, Swindon, Chippenham, Bristol, Newport, Cardiff, Bridgend, Port Talbot and Swansea Source(s): See http://www.cbrd.co.uk/motorway/m4/... for more than you need to know about the M4 and UK motorways
