Travel Info What is Butlins like for kids holidays? Travel Tips It is supposed to be really good. I know someone who worked there.. they said that it does get really busy in high season. The catering is a bit fast foodish but other than that should be great. I went to a few Butlins type places as a child and really enjoyed myself. Others I went to Butlins when I was 6. I am now 22 but can still remember having a whale of a time. There is a lot for kids to do and its fun for the adults too! I went to Butlin's as a child, and as a houseparent with other children from a home. A good time was had by all, but you do have to enjoy community gatherings! Hopefully it has changed considerable in the last 30 yrs. By and large it is a great time for the very young and very non-discriminating child. I'd shutter to bring a teenager there though, what they would get from this experience would require doctors care upon return home. |
