Travel Info want to take a cruise to England. Travel Tips The nearest port is in Plymouth, Devon but we don't have many cruise ships docking here! It's more of a port for the continental ferries that travel between the UK and France / Spain. Princetown is about a 45-minute drive from the port (hardly any public transport - you'd need to hire a car) The nearest popular cruise ship port is in Southampton (about 4 hours drive from Princetown). You may get lucky and find a cruise ship that goes to Falmouth, Cornwall. That's about 2 hours drive away. Others sea bay Princetown is in Devon. So the nearest port would be Plymouth. |
