Travel Info The town is called "something" Ferry, but the official signs include the suffix (no Ferry). Also, any information on the origin of this suffix? Travel Tips Could it be Meikle Ferry? There's also North Queensferry and South Queensferry which are either side of the Forth bridge outside Edinburgh. Towns with suffix Ferry would at one point have a ferry route, either a crossing or just a local boat, many routes no longer exist. |
