Whitby town center is amazing. Small cobbled streets leading up to the botton of the hill below the Abbey. Then there are about 1000 steps up to the Abbey on the hill. Amazing. Take a look at the grave stones that are older that America..

There is the beach, lots of pubs, fish and chips.. and not to far away is Scarborough and the Castle. There is a church nr the castle where one of the Bronte sisters is buried.

Lots to do, great place.
