Travel Tips
The easiest way is to get your passport and just go over there and get married. Then you can file for you temporary residency card, etc. At least, that's what I did when I went to my fiancee in Morocco. The difference being I had to do it, so he would be able to come here.

I would suggest looking into all the immigration laws in England, and find if there are any loop holes etc. I do know that it's definitely easier to get the permission for you to live there if you are already married. Start with the British Embassy website http://www.britainusa.com/ or the consulate.

For a ball park cost...I managed to get to Morocco and do all that for under $2000.00. For the cheaper if not the cheapest plane tickets try www.asaptickets.com. That site has the tickets that are left over from flights etc, like singles and such that are LAST minute, the closer to the time you fly that you buy the ticket the cheaper it is. I just looked, from AL to London, it's just under $500 for this thursday.

Also, getting a passport costs a little under $150 (If you don't rush it coming back to you). You have to get pictures done in the right way, try doing it at Walmart. Also (DON"T go to the gov office to apply for it, they will just screw you around with technicalities, go to the mail post office near you, TRUST ME. You have to mail your birth certificate to them to get it (which is kind of annoying).

Oh, and congratulations, I always wanted to go to England, you're in luck. The biggest problem there is that everything is WAY more expensive than in the US. I hope you line up a job there before you go, or at least have good connection with your fiancee, and without him. You should also have some sort of safety net in case things don't work out with you two.

Good Luck.

Frist in England they talk different English From USA. So u have to learn how they talk english. Then u have to wear differnet clothers then USA. They have differnet acts. They have the same words as USA but it might be the different meaning from USA.
Here's a link to the information you need regarding the process of getting your fiance visa.

I do not recommend you going to England without all the proper documentation. You will be stopped at the Immigration desk and you WILL be asked questions. If the officer has any doubts whatsoever you can be held and sent back on the next flight. Do it the legal way and you won't have a problem. As long as your fiance has a job in the UK and you have a place to live then the paperwork you need to complete won't be a big problem.
