Travel Info Anyone on here been to or live in Wiltshire, England and what do you think of it? Travel Tips I have lived in Wiltshire since I was three years old, am now 20 although away at University. Wiltshire is really beautiful, but relatively quiet. Swindon is an ugly city and should be totally ignored as it was built in the wrong decade. I have had a fantastic upbringing in Wiltshire and think it and its surrounding areas are truly beautiful. It is definately a great escape from the hectic lifestyle of city living!!! Anything specific you want to know, please don't hesitate to ask. I'd be happy to help! Hope this is what you wanted to hear. Others My home is oxfordshire. I have many relatives in Wiltshire and my fiance lives on the oxfordshire wiltshire boundary. Some areas are better than others, like everywhere really. Swindon is ok for shopping, but i prefer oxford. Life I live in Gloucestershire which borders Wiltshire to the north-west. For me, Wiltshire is a big county full of gentle countryside. It also has Stonehenge and Salisbury Cathedral. It wouldn't be the most exciting place to live, but fun to visit for a couple of days, or at the very least a very relaxing place to live. Nope, never been there. I want to though. Really want to visit Stonehenge. I've seen pretty pics of Wiltshire and it looks nice. I live in Warwickshire. I don't think Wiltshire could be any worse! |
