EUROPE... Me and my G friend want to move to Europe....Questions.? |
Travel Info Is there many jobs availible? Is is cheep to rent? How much of your income do you spend on rent % ? How are the living conditions there. I live in Perth Australia. Travel Tips It depends on what sort of job you get!!!! It also depends where about you wanna live in Europe? And also how much Capital you have already to support you and your girlfriend until you find a job and a place to rent Others Wait...I'm confused. I thought the rainbow behind your pic was a reference to you being gay. Maybe I was wrong... depends if its like amsterdam or something go ahead , but really anywhere but france(ull make the US look bad) greetings from Dublin plenty of work here in many areas. you can expect to pay 35% of your income,or more depending ,for accommodation. guaranteed good time 'tho europe varies hugely with regard to cost of living and employment possiblities look at http://www.finfacts.com/costofliving.htm... to get an idea of where is way too expensive for a start. in comparison to Perth you're going to find it expensive in most of Europe but wages are better in general. Eating out, clothes, food are all more expensive here than in Oz thou but its worth it for the experience. You have so many options and a huge range of cultures you don't even have to settle for one place- work and travel for a bit. You can get work/travel visas for a lot of countries in Europe just have a look at the Australia foreign office website and they'll let you know where you can go.For Ireland and the UK australians can apply for one for 12 months but every country will have different laws so make sure you' ve researched in properly. Plenty of jobs in the UK and plenty of Australians already here working. I live in Edinburgh and you can expect to pay around 拢500 a month minimum to live here in a one bedroom flat, but it would be less to share in a larger flat or to live in most other places. The minimum wage is just over 拢5 so the percentage for rent will depend on how well qualified you are and how many hours you want to work. Not that many jobs where I am, I'm in the middle Midlands, Warwickshire, England. It's quite cheap to rent anything from around 拢300 for a two bedroomed terrace house upwards. I don't rent we've just bought, when we were renting we were getting around 拢1000 in wages and paying 拢350 in rent, sorry I'm no good at working out percentages. :D However, if you come to England as an illegal immigrant, it appears that you can get a fully furnished rent-free house, money for food etc and help to get a job! |
