Travel Info What do you think of Northern Irish people - in general? Travel Tips Two of my best holidays ever - 1. camping in Northern Ireland, touring round wherever we felt like, everybody making us feel really welcome, I think the Irish have a soft spot for us Scots. 2. a couple of weeks in Portrush with my mate pi5hed nearly every night. Plus it's one of the sexiest accents ever ! Others some of the nicest people to come across (from a scotsman) really nice people People please lets just get along with each other. DON'T KNOW ANY.I KNOW PPL IN THE ORANGE ORDER IN GLASGOW AND THEY HATE CATHOLICS FOR JUST BEIN CATHOLICS?? FOOK KNOWS I KNOW IRISH PPL, BEAUTIFUL WOMEN. The ones I have met (there were lots at my English Polytech in the 80s) are all great fun - people of extremes and capable of incredible acts of sensitivity and kindness but also extreme acts of insensitivity and violence - all alongside each other in one person. Bizarre! But on the whole - my experience of them was very positive. basically, they seemed to be able and willing to express their feelings - no matter what they were/where they were!! i personally love british people more than my patriots (i'm not british) |
