Good idea to move from Las Vegas,NV to Colorado? |
Travel Info Do you think it would be a good idea (efficient, opportunity wise) to move to Colorado from Las Vegas, Nevada? preferably Springs,Colorado. solely based on peoples experiences or knowledge based on that area. We moved to Las Vegas and it did not prove jack **** to the opportunity's it had. Just a lot of people. hot as hell too. (father knows best right? yeahhh) >.> The reason is I am trying to get my parents to see it towards my perspective of moving. They are capable.... Just trying to reason on the well-being of all of us. Thx! Oh and if there are any other people who moved to Colorado and can give me some positive or unbiased input on the State and area associated with it would be very welcomed! usually prospering and job growth wise. Thanks again :) Travel Tips I moved from Las Vegas to Colorado three years ago. I liked Las Vegas, but in my view it didn't have any long term potential. I cannot live in a place that is so hot in the summer, and dry. I chose Colorado because I wanted a state in which there was a high standard of living. By contrast, New Mexico, for example, doesn't have a high standard of living. It is mostly impoverished. Colorado is new and expanding. The front range is where most of the economic activity is. Anywhere from Colorado Springs to Fort Collins is a good area to be. Pueblo is more impoverished than the rest of the Colorado cities. That's about all I can tell you off the top of my head. There is a lot of opportunity here. From Denver to Fort Collins (which is a span I travel daily) there is major construction on both sides of the highway the entire distance. Others it depends what city from colorado you want to move if its denver go ahead but if its another city from colorado dont move. Hi, I am from Colorado Springs. Am retired and living in Mexico now. Still own a home in Colorado Springs. I love it! Great city, growng fast, very attractive., has 4 seasons. It is a very "professional" and "technical" city. In other words, most jobs are for skilled workers. Best to search for a job there (or anywhere) before moving. There is a lot of info on the web, just enter "Colorado Springs" to learn more about the city. |
