Graceland and Memphis TN. Fun places to go to? Whats it like? |
Travel Info I think it sounds fun. Plus, I like Elvis so yeah. & I heard Memphis is a great town. Has a lot of music type entertainment. Travel Tips I was in Memphis last Christmas/New Year and we had a ball. There are loads of places to visit. Beale Street Stax Studios Museum Sun Studios National Civil Rights Museum (at the old Lorraine Motel where Martin Luther King Jr was assasinated) Memphis Zoo - to see the pandas and the komodos especially Graceland Gibson Guitar Factory Tour See the Memphis Belle See the Peabody Ducks in the Peabody Hotel See the Grizzlies play at the basketball So many things - such a fun place and so much history. We had Frommer's Guide to Memphis and Nashville and it was a great point of reference to plan things. Others Yes, Graceland is fun---be sure you take the entire tour with the cars and airplanes---Beale Street is where you need to go for all the bars and restaurants.....have fun ! My Aunt went and there was Graceland, the airplane musem, touring Elvis' plane, seeing all his cars, aquriams. She thought it was fun. My Aunt |
