Rock formation?

I was on a flight from Dallas to Sacramento and saw a huge rock formation as we were flying over , I think New Mexico. Maybe Arizona? I don't know but it looked like a ship or a castle, from the plane. It was neat and had a shadow cast from the sun, to one side. Just trying to find out what I saw. Is it famous? Anyone know????

my best guess would be Shiprock NM . It's located on the Navajo Reservation in the approximate area of FourCorners-AZ, UT, NM, CO- or basically straight North from Gallup NM to the town of Shiprock and then west.
The rock itself is what's left of the inside of a volcano. The softer rock eroded around it and Shiprock is what remains.
