Travel Info Does St. Augustine, Florida have Public Transportation? If so, what kind of transportation does it have? Travel Tips St. Augustine has minimal public transportation. They have the Sunshine Bus which more information can be found here: http://www.oldcity.com/sites/sunshine/... . Unfortunately, the Sunshine Bus is not timely and does not go as many places as most folks would like to be able to go. The majority of the city can be wandered by foot, but the commercial areas are too far for walking. If you are a tourist, there are also the red tourist trains and green tourist trolleys that go around to the tourist sites. There are also taxicabs that are easily accessible, but they are rather expensive. Your best bet will be to wear good walking shoes and walk throughout the downtown area, saving money for taxi trips to go get groceries and the like down off of US-1.
