Where in the United States is a good place to live? And Why? |
Travel Info My best friend and I thinking about moving...just packing up and moving. We really don't know where we want to go, but would like to stay out of the Big Cities. We don't want to move someplace were the cost of living is going to be sky high, either. But the biggest concerns to usare the community atmosphere (friendly, relaxed, etc), JOBS, and living. Please help us. We're up for anything right now!! Travel Tips I love where I live in the Missouri Ozark Mountain region. I have 13 acres of rocks and trees 15 miles from the nearest town on a dirt road with no more than 5 cars a day going by. I never have to lock my door and in the summer leave the doors and windows open 24/7 even when I go into town to shop. The only time I close them is during rainstorms. The cost of living is low and there is work available for those who really want to work. There is a state prison in the town closest to me and other larger towns with other opportunities further away. I am on disability retirement so don't have to worry about finding work but all my family that lives here have work. It is peaceful, quiet and friendly. Others I think the best place to move is Filer,Id. It isn't a big city. Its in the country and quiet. You should move to PA only if you like both cold and hot wethers. It is so beautiful because each season is so beautiful. My favorite is fall because all the trees change colors. But there is great communities, you could live in the city or in a little town outside the city. it's a great place to live. Um well me I think here in Brownsville Texas or at least somewhere down here because in the winter in never goes below 40 something degrees and Its sunny mostly all year round in the low 70's and high 90's and it hardly ever rains this is such a good community and place to live this isn't a huge city but it is very big. and their is many job opportunity's and the living here doesn't even cost a lot thier are many apartments and hotels and very cute little suburbs and homes that don't even cost a whole bunch and our Beach is great here. Its in South Padre Island And if you wanna see Akon during Spring break This beach is the place to be so just stop bye and see if you like it if not just come and see Akon. Well i live the US and i live in a very small town and its a good part of Ohio NO CRIME! Here we have sum jobs here in the city but No worries here the clubs r great here and the plp r nice but where ever u guys pick have fun and good luck! i live in USA and i live in ILLINOIS it gets cold but is peaceful and quite in rural areas and USA's third biggest city Chicago. it has the sears tower second biggest skyscraper in the world.in the town of woodfield has the third biggest mall in the world.i highly recomend belvidere illinois very quite peaceful good paying jobs.very nice people.small town last crime majoir crime was 5 years ago and I'll suggest Albuquerque, NM for you. The reasons: 1) Even with around 500,000 people, it has a small city feel. Still, it has all the amenities of a big city. 2) Cost of living is not particularly high in NM, outside of Santa Fe. 3) I found the people very friendly in my 6 years there. 4) It is growing, which is indicative of a good economy and the likelihood of job potential. 5) It is very multicultural, if that interests you, even for being a smaller city. 6) If you like historical/ cultural sightseeing, it's a great place. 7) It is very relaxed in pace. No east coast rush, rush, rush. 8) Politically, it's very moderate, meaning you can find yourself at home no matter what leanings you have, most likely. I could go on, but I really don't know what you think "nice" is either. |
