Travel Info Waht is my favourite place? Travel Tips I assume it is Geneva which is where you posted your question. I heard it is beautiful and small with quite a few Americans and French. Swiss lakes, mountains and scenery are fantastic. I think everyone who can needs to visit Switzerland at least once in a life time to enjoy the lakes and the Alps. One of my all time favorite vacation day was taking a bus to catch the funicular up the Rigi Mountain for a picnic. The place was like the Sound of Music movie scene. We hiked down to catch a gondola to the lakeside town. We took the ferry to have a wonderful dinner in a little restaurant by the lake with a wedding carriage going by. Of course the moon was full. We finished the day with a night train ride back to Lucerne. Love to go back soon.
