Travel Info What is the best Greek island to visit - I want to spend a couple of days there in the summer. Thanks? Travel Tips Depends on your age and budget. Ios: 18-25. Cheaper than the rest. One big party!!! Mykonos: 18-35. Lots more expensive. Another big party!!! More beaches. Santorini: 18-any age. Medium expensive. Many, many beaches. Lots of history there. The most beautiful island. Others Santorini was my favorite. If you get a chance to go Delphi too, which isn't an island being inland. But, its a great little town northwest of Korinthos. Santorini. Although it is one of the most expensive islands to go to along with Mykonos. You will not regret it though! It is so beautiful and romantic. I am going there myself this summer. Hydra. Mykonos is the best!!! Own expirience I would recommend Kos. Ancient ruins could be found on every corner (on really every corner) of Kos-Town. The landscape is pittoresque, there are a lot of smaller islands (vulcanic island of Nissyros, sponge-fishing island Kalymnos) around, they are easy to reach by boat. If you want to visit two countries, Turkey (Bodrum) can be reached by boat from Kos in less than one hour. Oh yes: Try greek pastry!!! |
