Go to Athens just because is the capital...
I live in Thessaloniki, 2nd biggest city, it's north, bautiful, not as lousy as Athens with a great nightlife.
Best islands you should see is Rhodes(thats where my boyfriend comes from ;) ), Kos, Corfu, Crete (especially Chania and Rethymno), Santorini, what else? I think those r the best places Source(s): I've been there so...trust me

If I were you, I'd visit Corfu or Crete or some nice little island and try to get away from it all.
First expression always means.... so I think it is Athens airport....lol
