Is the life expensive in Athens, Greece? |
Travel Info I received a scholarship of 4 months in Athens, Greece and I want to know if there are cheap places to rent, places where I could work for some extra cash, and other things like that. Travel Tips You can rent a small decent apartment for 300 euros minimum.Tranportation is cheap..35 euros for a monthly card for buses and subway.Lunch in an average restaurant around 20 euros.about 5 euros for a fast food simple meal.1,20 euros for a lt of milk,50 cents for a small bottle of water,but watch out:3 or 4 whole euros for a cup of coffee..We greeks spend 2 or 3 hours in the coffee shops so we pay for the use of the table in a way!!!! If you want to ask me more:ecogina@hotmail.com Others It is average as other eu countries I must agree with gina...Although i believe that u will find good prices for Products of worldwide companies but trust me do NOT buy anything that has to do with gadgets like mp3's mobiles computers because for some reason they're far more expensive than it is in other countries |
