Greece is the 2nd largest mountainous country in Europe, after Switzerland.Highest is mount Olympus ,the mountain of the Gods. Most rivers run in northern Greece in the regions of Thrace ,Macedonia,Epirus and not only.Athens ,the capital does not have any rivers (anymore) so it receives water for its 4 mill. population through 3 lakes.
