Where is Ithica in Ancient greece?

Well, I was looking for where odysseus lived to do a progect but i relized that i needed to know where the heck he lived. i don't even know where Ithica is!

Ithaca, or Ithaka (Ithaki in modern Greek, Greek alphabet: 螜胃维魏畏; see also List of traditional Greek place names) is an island in the Ionian Sea, in Greece with an area of 96 km虏 and 5,000 inhabitants. Nobody knows exactly. Some belive that's the same island as Ithaka in Ionian Sea but it isn't for sure.

Homer describes Ithaca thus:

"Around are many islands, close to each other, Doulichion and Samos and wooded Zakynthos. Ithaca itself lies low, furthest out to sea, facing the western sunset. The rest stand apart, and face both dawn and sun."
Homer offers 26 descriptions of specific places on Ithaca, but these do not match the modern Ithaca.
