Travel Tips If you want wild parties go to Malia or Hersonissos, if you want nice beaches go to chania (both north and south) and rethimno. If you wand traditional villages go to all the places away from the sea, for hiking you should go to the Samaria gorge, archaeological sites everywhere but most famous is Knossos and Festos, and if you want to meet rich and wealthy Arabs go to Elounda. If you want to meet local men go to Chania, and if you want to meet women go to rethimno. In Malia and Hersonisso you will make international friends! Others PARTY! PARTY! PARTY! Everywhere at almost anytime! Be safe Savvy? and have loads of fun! I spent several weeks last fall. Lots to do depending on what you like. Great place to swim. Check out the south coast.
