Travel Info Has anyone travelled to Greece. What is the hot spot there? Travel Tips If you want to party...well I guess Mykonos is the old stand by. For another tourist party trap, last I heard Hersonissos and Mallia on northern Crete were getting popular. That's if you want to party. But I would totally recommend any other island! You are bound to havea good time pretty much elsewere without all the noise and annoying people. Others my favorite part of greece is the island of rhodes. (rhodes town in particular) it is cheap to get to and easily accesible to other islands and turkish mainland aswell. Acropolis , Athens ! Without a doubt, the Akropolis in Athens. From there you can easily get to many more ruins, the old Olympic stadium, the modern government buildings, and you'll have a great view of the entire city. A metro pass is only 5 Euros for the day, and there's even a metro stop at the base of the Akropolis. I go all the time. depends on what you are looking for. Beautiful islands, friendly people, good food, great places to visit and good nightlife also. |
