When is the best time of year to visit Greece? (weather-wise)? |
Travel Info I'm trying to plan a vacation and I'm looking for the best possible weather - not too hot or too cold. I realize their seasons are pretty much the same as ours here, but is there an "ideal" time of year to go? Travel Tips Easter is best because they really celebrate, but for weather, late may early june or September! Others the spring SUMMER In the very beginning of Automn or the end of Summer! It's not as hot as Summer and not as cold as Winter! You can still go swimming and the sun will always be visible (except when it's night :P ). It is usually not rainy.. You can wear T-shirts even in the night time! The wind in warm and perfect!!!! Come in August! The best choice! if you don't want it too hot forget august and July, it would really really hot and moist (unless you go north Greece) if you want to visit southern islands i think nowadays are the perfect times. the session has already started. I think, late may and early June are the ideal times for the weather and the prices. Enjoy your vacation! third week off september,the crowds are gone,the kids are back in school,the sea is smooth as glass. first week of joon is nice,but could get windy. don't come in august,it's too hot and very crowded!!!! well, it's cheepest to travel to Greece in the beginning of June, butt it's best weather-wise to travel to Greece at the end of June and the beginning of August. |
