I live in South-Africa and would love to go to greece!!
Is there a way that I can go there and work there and how do I get this information?

Entry requirements for South Africans: South Africans must have a passport valid at least three months beyond expiry date of the visa. A visa is required. Greece accepts visas issued by other Schengen States according to the Schengen Agreement. Visitors must hold medical travel insurance.

You should be able to apply for a Greek entry visa at the Greek Embassy in Cape Town. This will probably only be valid for a number of months and will be a tourist visa - so working may be a problem if you get questioned by the Tourist Police once here in Greece.

There are seasonal jobs available in resort areas, but they pay poorly. Long term employment is hard to find - unemployment is at 11% and there are lots of Eastern European and Balkan nationals here, who will do almost any job for half the price (in the hand) than a Greek would work for!

There are a few websites showing jobs in Greece, but unless you have technical qualifications, there is rarely anything of interest.

its very very easy to find a job in greece especially if u go for the summer
but if u are looking for a permanent job it will be difficult

If you are a teacher you might be hired by an international school. You'd have to apply to a placement agency such as ISS or Search Associates. They won't serve you if you specify that you want to work in only one country or even only one continent, but you don't have to take jobs from any other country, just say you will.
