Travel Info Where in Stalis Crete would be best to eat,trips to go on etc. thanks.? Travel Tips Stalis (or Stalida) is a quiet and beautiful luxury resort. i havent been there but i found some information about it and photos. it offers great service to tourists, it is not as packed with people as hersonisos (another resort pretty close to stalis), there are many cafes, traditional restaurants, some bars and in case you wont be going around by car, there is frequent bus line to iraklio and agio nikolao (main cities of crete). the beach is great and mainly sandy, you will enjoy the sea for sure. dont forget to get paximadia (baked bread), skaltsounia (sweet or salty dessert).. have a nice trip and dont worry, once you get there you will find everything you need, everybody speaks english and they will be very helpful, food is great in crete in general and you will have a great time!
