Do you have any knowledge about Holiday destination: Corfu? |
Travel Info I am looking into a holiday on the Greek island of Corfu in July, can anyone reccommend an area of the island for (in order of priority): 1/ attractive surroundings, 2/ clean beaches, 3/ nightlife. Even better, can you reccomend a particular hotel? Travel Tips stay in the north of the Island the south is a dump and all your 18 year olds go there for a holiday if you want culture and good surroundings stay in the north and visit the south. Hope this helps I also recommend hiring a car. Others go zakinthos/zante, crete or skiathos. corfu is no good! all depends what part you go to! the north of the island is quieter with nicer landscape and beaches. if your looking for nightlife Kavos in the south is the biggest party place i have been to corfu and i would never ever go back there. I have been to zante and its lovely the beach is great and if you like nigth clubs go to lagerner its 2 long streets just all nigth cubs there was 8 of us and we had a great time.
