Travel Info hi peeps, 4 people (age 22) going to rhodes from UK in july... plz help out with whatever you can...things i need to know: 1) what is there to see and do in rhodes 2) how to get to turkey from there (any ferry/ship websites?) 3) best nightlife place 4) how far is egypt - is it safe to go? 5) how far is cyprus? is it similar to rhodes? thanks!!!!! Travel Tips Hello dear! Generally, you should be excited and happy. Do not worry, Rhodes is an island with hospitable people, rich history, great climate! When you are there, you will decide on what you want to do! Don't plan everything! The islands of the Aegean, the divine islands will guide you to a life time and worth experience! 1. So many to put them on paper! Enjoy the Sun, the land, the sea! 2. When you arrive there, you will find out, easier than searching now. The ferry is getting you across to Ionia in very little time, enjoy the voyage! 3. In Rhodes and all over Greece, people live in the night! Being there you will decide where to spend the night; when you want a change, you visit another place! 4. There is no problem to get to Egypt, but there is no direct flight/ boat. Also, why to split your time so much? Enjoy Rhodes and possibly some superb islands around and another trip you go to Egypt! 5. Cyprus is much larger, for the last 32 years is split into the free Cyprus, which is also a member of the EU and the North, occupied by Turkish army! You welcome to Greece! Others Ok dear 1)Things to see for sure is the knights castle,the underground sea aquarium.Also the town of Lindos. 2)You will find daily ship departures to Turkey at the main harbor. 3)I think there are no direct ship rides to Egypt.I think it's pretty safe. 5)Cyprus is close.It different from Rodes.Cyprus is a country of its own.It's a very beautiful island from what I've heard.
