Where to stay in Santorini?

I'm planning a trip to Santorini this summer, and am wondering what village and hotel I should choose... Any suggestions anyone? Btw, we're going to be three girls, so looking for a younger atmosphere.

Santorini is a wonderful island, I wish you to have a good time there.
Be careful not to go there without doing the hotel reservation previously, especially for the months of July - August.
It is a small island and you can easily find a taxi and go around (it is not costly, but ask every time before taking a taxi how much will it cost to you).
You can use the site of the National Organisation for Tourism http://www.eot.gr or http://www.cheaphotels.com to find more information and organise your tour.

I will put a small comment regarding the 1st answer that does not answer the question at all. Is it possible yeginosman to post them in the right place and not everywhere?
Your information about Turkey is wellcome when you are asked to give it. You are not making any good to your country reacting like this, if this is the reason of your reaction.

I would recommend that you stay in the town Fira. That is the largets town on the island and where most of the nightlife is. Oia is a nice town too but it is more for romance and couples in my opinion. Take a look at the tripadvisor.com website for reviews on different hotels.
Visited Santorini in September 2005.
It might be very difficult to find a place, maybe everything will be booked!
When are you planing in going? For how long?

Have you reserved rooms? Not! When are you coming? for how long? there re some cute little hotels and some larger, more expensive, what is your range,will and capacity? Act fast!
