Travel Tips There is a bus from OTOGAR bust station to Athens once a day at 11:00 (I think) It is operated by OSE (The Greek railway company... it is absurd I know but true). The carrier was VARAN a couple of months ago but I believe it has changed. Call OSE they'll tell you. Availability is scarce so make sure you book. It is the cheapest way but neither comfortable nor fast.you can take buses. It's easy and cheap. There is a possibility to take ferries. I'd fly, though, no matter the cost. It's only an hour and gives you more time to spend in both cities. I understand it's amazing and beautiful to sail through the Dardenelles under a full moon. The straight is so narrow you can see people on both sides. Bus. And there are no ferries whoever said that. The cheapest might be by air, but the most economical might be by land transport, so that you will enjoy the view of the great places you will pass about! |
