Travel Tips In Meteora they allow women to enter only if they are properly dressed and that means skirt and not a short one of course! For your information in Agios Oros they don't allow women... Source(s): I'm Greek Other Travel Tips They should allow tourists. Me - Greek yeap,women in Meteora are allowed. there are also monasteries who have only nuns. Only in Agio Oros are not allowed women You will have to have covered arms, and many of the monasteries will rent you a skirt if necessary. Only on Mt. Athos are women not allowed. They are allowed to enter some. Ask the Greek church before going to avoid dissapointment. |
