Travel Info bought a house and moving to the interior of Mexico. Travel Tips Good Question, you can't bring a rental truck across the border. We sold everything and brought just our personal items in the back of our Bronco and van, (we were never stopped)We had our passports and papers for our cat just in case they did stop us.My most important items were our photo albums, keepsakes and clothing, so I just boxed them all up and had a giant yard sale for the rest.There are plenty of places down here to buy new things for 1/2 the cost!
