How likely am I to get motion sickness on a plane? |
Travel Info A friend living in Sydney Australia has offered me an apartment (not hers) to stay in for a week. I live in Melbourne Australia. I've never flown before. I get travel sickness. In cars when I don't look where I'm going(e.g. looking down at maps), and bus (extended trips). I'm guessing the flight is an hour. I'm likely to get sick aren't I? Travel Tips Some people get motion sickness while trveling in car especially in the back seats, And some when the plane is taking off or while landing. This is due to the internal ear problem which is being affected by the atmospheric pressure or problem itself in the internal ear. Others i never got one. its like a big bus :) There are wristbands you can buy for under $10 that end motion sickness. They apply pressure to a certain point that helps your equalibrium. Trust me. |
