Is any country (outside of North America) safe to travel to alone? |
Travel Info I was thinking of a trip overseas, but I'm not sure about the safety of some countries, and I know any place isn't really that safe. Any suggestions on places you have gone, and what happened when you were there. Travel Tips Depends on what you mean by safe. Many countries (like Japan and Europe) are much safer than the United States. But since you feel safe in North America, it's a good guess you have a certain tolerance for insecurity, so I'd say the world is open for exploring. There are dangerous streets and neighborhoods in every country. Others YOU SHOULD NEVER TRAVEL ANYWHERE ALONE. That put's you as a target for others whom you don't know very well right away. ye go to england or europe, very safe and you will be amazed by the culture. Or try japan, this modern culture has a very low crime rate and it technologically advanced. Australia is alos very good with nie warm beaches and hue houses Travelling in Mexico isn't that bad. I have a friend who travelled Mexico by herself and had a wonderful time. She said the locals were very friendly and happy to help when she was lost. She made lots of friends in Mexico. I've been travelling alone for over 20 years -- Europe, Latin America and Israel. If you are reasonably alert and use a little commonsense (sort of like you would behave in a large American city), you can go almost anywhere (I'd skip Iraq right now). I'm heading for Mexico & Europe this year -- and trying to figure out how to travel more! Go -- the more you travel, the less nervous you will be! I'll be traveling around the world solo i think it's pretty safe try Detroit or Gary Indiana... if nothing happens to you there you would survive even Afghanistan |
