Travel Info I want the low down scoop! How safe is it really to walk around - I cant see myself wearing body armor. Any good websites that have uptodate info? Maybe Jordan is safer? I've been living here for 21 years, and I walk around, I travel, I even come home from work at night walking without worrying because most places are safer than most nyc, for example. Jordan is not safer, no. Try cities like North Tel-Aviv, Eilat, Herzliya, Tiberias, etc', they are very pretty, lots to see, and very very safe. Avoid the Gaza strip and Nablus there is ramped lawlessness over there. try to avoid major bus terminals on sunday mornings, statistically that is the time when most bombing occur. lived in Jerusalem for 20 years |
