If you are from the Canada or US, you need only photo id and proof of country of birth. After December this year if you are from the US, you will need passport, not for entry into Mexico, but for return to United States. (Never let anyone tell you to "bring a gun" to Mexico. Even as a "joke," it is an extremely STUPID one. Private use of firearms is extremely restricted in Mexico and NEVER allowed for foreigners. The penalty if you are caught is YEARS in a Mexican prison, that's YEARS. The bribes you would need to pay to get out of prison, minimum, would require your parents to sell their house!) |
