Travel Info When is the cheapest time of year to fly to Japan? Travel Tips Well, when nothing is going on, so It's not January or February, when Chinese new Year occurs. April and May are out because of Cherry blossoms and Golden Week. Having been in June, though nothing special, it's tourist season and very crowded even in less touristy places. August has Obon... So I guess March would be a good time. Why am I listing popular times as times not to go? Because prices rise because they still get a good demand. Others depends where you are flying out of but i went last march out of buffalo NY and it was really cheap i think like $500 round trip so i recomend like february or march cuz after that i think they have golden week celebration in april and its busy there The cheapest time to travel is in their off-season (November to mid-March). Prices go way up near the end of March when the cherry trees blossom. |
