Well I'm in Japan right now, Beppu to be exact. Beppu is known for it's great onsen (hot springs). It's not a huge metropolis area like Tokyo or Osaka but I think it's quite nice. I still get the gaijin (foreigner) stare when I go out, but that's to be expected. Everyone is quite friendly and the overall safety of the country is what really attracts me. I would recommend learning a few key phrases in Japanese before visiting. It couldn't hurt right? But yes, I like Japan. Source(s): www.japan-guide.com

Oh yeah!!! Japan rocks!! only been there one night though T_T I want to go to japan and learn japanese and read japanese manga!!! and anime!!
I love Japan! The most memorable part was going to the hotsprings towns and staying at the traditional ryokans. One should try out Kaiseki meals. They are so delicious. Soaking in the hotsprings made me felt so relaxed.
