Travel Info we have been married 11 months now. befoer we are working on his residency here, but because he's having a hard time to adjust in the philippines,we just decided to migrate in america.what kind of application would i file to get ther faster. If so the process is simplier for you, however you wil be grilled like a burnt steak by the Customs agents who will have their mind set that you only married him to get into the USA. Others Legally, there is no other way Have someone petition you in the US or find a job that will sponsor your stay in the US, have him or you apply for a school or university or you can become a US resident. My parents are Filipino and I was born in my Manila but am a US citizen while my parents are US residents.
